Ten Sleep, WY Sport Climbing Clinic: September 18 & 19, 2021
Ten Sleep
September 18 & 19, 2021
Welcome to the sport climbing limestone mecca of Wyoming. This all-women’s clinic is designed for all levels of sport climbers, from the total ‘newbie’ to the ‘seasoned sender.’ The venue of Ten Sleep boasts spectacular mountain views with creature comforts just minutes away at the campground. Limestone pockets and edges provide fantastic climbing sequences facilitating movement lessons created by nature. It truly is the best of all worlds.
We will begin by laying the foundation of solid climbing partnerships with rope work, communication and climbing movement. Ensuring everyone feels confident in their abilities to push boundaries through intentional commitment in the sport climbing realms are the main objectives throughout the clinic. Whether top roping, mock leading or leading, participants will be able to grow as sport climbers.
Skills covered are: climbing knots & hitches; bolted anchor building and cleaning; top rope and lead belaying; climbing movement and skills on top-rope, mock lead, and lead climbing.
