  • Want to build your comfort level with belay systems?
  • Know your knots but could use a refresher?
  • Want to try climbing (even though you are terrified of heights) because you’ve heard it is the most inspiring and empowering thing ever?

The New River Gorge Climbing Clinic offers beginner to advanced Instruction Levels.

Our climber-to-guide ratio is 4:1 so you get tons of instruction. Our personal goal is to build your confidence and self-reliance.

  • Improve your climbing technique on technical face climbs and splitter cracks
  • Learn technical skills like how to access and set up top rope anchors and then how to clean it once you’re done
  • Become more comfortable climbing outdoors
  • Learn about lead climbing, lead belaying

Our New River Gorge Climbing Clinic provides a fun, safe, and encouraging climbing-learning environment led by the best female guides in the industry.

The New River Gorge National River is located in Southern West Virginia and has an endless amount of single pitch sport and trad climbs for all levels. Many of the cliffs have easy top access so you can learn how to set up a top-rope anchor so you can top-rope climb safely with your climbing partners.

One hundred foot high, Nuttall Sandstone cliffs run through the heart of the park, making 1800 rock climbs with amazing views of the river which snakes through the bottom of the gorge. It’s known as the Grand Canyon of the East and has some of the best rock quality you will ever lay your hands on. There is no shortage of rock at Chicks New River Gorge, WV Climbing Clinic.
