Imagine, a long, never-ending, dry river bed turned vertically.

The river bed reaches into the sky. The rounded stones are cemented into place by the dried sediment, offering you passage up the vertical, overhanging walls via smooth slopers and rounded side pulls. Missing cobbles also provide pockets and edges on these uniquely featured walls.

Maple Canyon, Utah is a sport climber’s paradise. It’s as if Mother Nature sculpted a climbing gym made of perfect jugs.

Join Chicks to challenge your skills on this amazing conglomerate rock.

Maple Canyon Climbing is perfect for the novice climber looking to move from the gym to the crag.  Maple Canyon is also perfect for those new to leading and more advanced climbers who want to push their lead climbing.

There are a number of differences between indoor and outdoor climbing. Read Chicks Captain’s Column Tips for Outdoor Climbing by Kitty Calhoun, Co-Owner Chicks Climbing, to find out more.

The concept of ONLY being with women was fantastic. We really do speak our own precious language and I was so looking forward to a few days to experience that. What blew me away was how incredible each individual woman was. I loved the structure to your agenda, allowing time to tell our story, express our hopes for the day, support each other, work together.–Stefanie K, Chicks Maple Canyon Climbing Clinic participant.
